Hours: Full-time 8:30 – 15:30
Pay: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Location: Burnley
Your responsibilities:
Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
Work collaboratively with teachers, other professionals and parents.
Commit to the wider life of the school and the community of the school.
Assist the class teacher with delivering lessons and sessions to small groups.
Have an understanding of children’s needs so that interventions can be planned and delivered.
Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them in order to support their needs.
Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification
Relevant experience working with children, within a school setting.
A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have a passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Enhanced DBS – assistance provided if required
Strong behaviour management techniques.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
