Job Description

Year 6 Primary Teacher - Upper KS2**

Aspire People are recruiting an experienced and driven **Year 6 Teacher** to join a high-achieving primary school. This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives in a results-driven environment and is confident preparing pupils for **SATs and transition to secondary school**.

The school is seeking a teacher who can balance high expectations with strong pastoral support, ensuring pupils feel confident and prepared for the next stage of their education.

**The Role:**
* Full class teaching responsibility within a Year 6 classroom
* Preparing pupils for SATs with structured and engaging lessons
* Delivering targeted interventions to raise attainment
* Tracking and analysing pupil progress to inform teaching
* Supporting pupils' emotional readiness for secondary school
* Working closely with SLT and the KS2 team

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 6 preferred)
* Strong understanding of SATs and assessment frameworks
* Excellent behaviour management and organisational skills
* High expectations of pupil achievement
