We are a modern logistics company providing tailored transport and supply chain solutions for major clients across the UK. As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll be the key link between our Transport Management team and our clients, ensuring all operations run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact between transport management and clients.
* Monitor transport schedules, routes, and service levels to meet client requirements.
* Manage communication with clients regarding order status, service updates, and issue resolution.
* Support operational planning, and performance reporting.
* Identify opportunities to optimize efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.
* Identify opportunities to grow within the actual clients.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and client-specific procedures.
* Fleet control and administration – maintenance, equipment, documentation, tax controls.
* Administrative tasks, related to the operation and fleet

Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — both written and verbal.
* Proven problem-solving and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.
Nice to Have (Optional):
* Previous experience in logistics, transport coordination, or operations management (1–3 is a plus)
* Understanding of transport management systems (TMS) and logistics processes, is a plus.
* Knowledge of UK and EU transport regulations.
* Background in client relationship management or service delivery roles.
