Primary School Teacher - Cullompton, Devon

Location: Cullompton, Devon
 Contract: Full-time, long-term (with the potential to go permanent)
 Pay: Paid to scale (M1-UPS, depending on experience)
 Start Date: 20th April 2026

Prospero Teaching is seeking a committed and inspiring Primary School Teacher to join one of our friendly partner primary schools in the Cullompton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting pupils' development within a welcoming and community‑focused school environment.

The Role

Teaching a Primary class (year group can be matched to your experience and preference)
Planning and delivering engaging, creative and differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Monitoring, assessing and supporting pupils' progress
Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
Participating in wider school life, including extracurricular activities and events

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
Passionate about teaching and committed to supporting young learners
Strong classroom management and an ability to motivate pupils
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
