Secondary School Teachers - Multiple Subjects (Mid Devon)

Start Date: 20th April 2026
 Location: Mid Devon
 Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term supply
 Pay: £140-£290 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)

Prospero Teaching is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teachers to work across a variety of welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools in Mid Devon, starting 20th April 2026.

We are recruiting across multiple subject specialisms, including but not limited to:

English
Maths
Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
Humanities
PE
ICT/Computing
Art & Design
Design Technology
Modern Foreign Languages
Business Studies
Performing ArtsWhether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we want to hear from you.

The Role

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and/or KS4.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress.
Work collaboratively with department staff and senior leaders.
Uphold safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education.
Previous experience teaching in UK secondary schools (desirable).
A proactive, adaptable, and reliable teaching style.
An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
