Are you a supportive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in primary schools across Sheffield?
 PK Education is currently recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to work in a range of friendly and supportive primary schools throughout the Sheffield area.

This is a great opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, learning support staff, or individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience in primary education.

About the Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant with PK Education, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and help pupils reach their full potential. Roles may involve working with whole classes, small intervention groups, or providing one-to-one support for pupils who need additional assistance.

Assignments can range from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements depending on your availability and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Work with small groups or individual pupils to support learning
Assist with classroom preparation and activities
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Provide additional support for pupils with varying learning needs
Follow school safeguarding policies and procedures

Requirements

Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (preferred but not essential)
A positive, patient, and supportive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A flexible and proactive attitude
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Two professional references covering the last two years
