TeacherActive is currently recruiting for a passionate Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Salford on a long-term basis.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students to develop their understanding and enthusiasm for the subject. You will play a key role in supporting pupil progress and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver creative and effective Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Differentiate teaching to support a range of abilities, including SEND and EAL learners
Track and assess student progress, adapting teaching where necessary
Establish clear expectations for behaviour and foster a respectful classroom culture
Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school
Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
A commitment to inclusive teaching practices
A professional approach with a genuine enthusiasm for education
