The Role
The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons that inspire and challenge students.
* Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.
* Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and parents' evenings.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance, and achievement.We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Has a degree in a Science-related subject (desirable but nt essential)
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education.
* Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Is committed to raising standards and improving student outcomes.
* Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.
* Has experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting (desirable but not essential for ECTs).What We Offer
