Affinity Partnerships are not only looking for qualified, experienced teachers, we are also looking for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), who are looking to start the teaching adventures in the Weston-Super-Mare area.
The ideal candidate should feel comfortable leading KS3 and KS4 lessons, including those who will be taking exams, as well as being enthusiastic and wanting to help the pupils with their studies.
Affinity Partnerships are the Managed Service Provider for Cabot Learning Federation and the Priory Learning Trust and are the first port call for their five Weston Academies.
The successful applicant:
Qualified Teachers Status.
Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education.
Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
