About the Role:
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that build confidence, independence, and academic excellence. You'll support pupils through their final year of primary education, helping them to develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum.
Prepare pupils for end-of-year assessments and the transition to KS3.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure strong progress.
Uphold the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 6 preferred).
Excellent understanding of KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
