Job Description

Job Title: Admin / Bookings Coordinator Location: Cheadle (Office-Based) Salary: £17–£18 per hour (depending on experience) Company: Regional Construction Company – Social Housing Refurbishment About Us We are a well-established regional construction company specialising in social housing refurbishment schemes across the North of England, with a strong focus on projects in and around Bradford. Working in partnership with housing providers and local authorities, we deliver high-quality improvement works to occupied homes while maintaining a strong commitment to tenant care and communication. The Role We are looking for an organised and personable Admin / Bookings Coordinator to join our office-based team in Cheadle. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience who is confident handling phone calls and coordinating appointments. You will play a key role in liaising with tenants who have active construction works taking place in their homes, scheduling appointments for our site teams, and ensuring clear and professional communication at all times. While the role does not involve extensive reporting, it does require a highly organised approach and the ability to manage bookings and enquiries efficiently. Key Responsibilities * Scheduling and coordinating appointments for construction teams working on occupied properties * Acting as a first point of contact for tenants via phone and email * Providing clear, friendly and professional communication to residents regarding upcoming works * Updating internal systems with appointment details and tenant communications * Supporting the wider delivery team with general administrative tasks * Helping to ensure works are delivered with minimal disruption to tenants About You * Previous experience in an administration, scheduling, or customer service role * Confident and professional telephone manner * Strong organisational skills and attention to detail * Comfortable dealing with members of the public and handling queries with patience and empathy * Able to work efficiently in a busy office environment * Proficient with standard office systems (Outlook, Excel, CRM or booking systems) What We Offer * £17–£18 per hour, depending on experience * Full-time, office-based role in Cheadle * Stable position within a growing regional construction business * Supportive team environment How to Apply If you are an organised administrator who enjoys coordinating schedules and providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
