Behaviour Mentor - Newham

Location: Newham, East London
 Position: Behaviour Mentor (Full-Time, Long-Term)
 Start Date: ASAP or January 2026
 Pay: £90-£120 per day (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential?
 We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and inclusive school in Newham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to improving outcomes for students with behavioural or emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural or emotional challenges.

Support teaching staff in managing behaviour within the classroom.

Implement and monitor individual behaviour plans.

Encourage and guide students towards positive behaviour and personal growth.

Act as a role model and mentor, building trust and promoting confidence.

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour, SEMH, or additional learning needs (school or youth setting).

Strong communication, empathy, and de-escalation skills.

Calm, resilient, and proactive approach.

Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students and staff.

Genuine passion for supporting young people and promoting inclusion.
