Job Description

We are currently seeking a full-time KS3/4 English Teacher to join our dynamic secondary school community starting in September until the end of the academic with the potential to become a permanent position. The Role:

As a dedicated and innovative English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students through the power of language and literature. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality English lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
Instilling a love for reading, writing, and exploring various forms of literature.
Providing comprehensive instruction in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and creative writing.
Employing modern teaching techniques, including interactive activities, discussions, and multimedia resources.
Requirements:

To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

A degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Passion for the English language, literature, and effective teaching methodologies.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
