This role is based at our customer’s site in the Midlands, Derbyshire, Cheshire and/or our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Coventry—a unique joint venture between FEV and Coventry University, designed to foster innovation and collaboration.

Junior Calibration Engineer – Hybrid Powertrain Focus
The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Calibration Engineer to support hybrid powertrain calibration and validation activities. This is an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while learning from industry experts.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist in calibration and development tasks for hybrid powertrain systems.
- Collect and analyse test data to support issue resolution.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure technical alignment.
- Support validation activities and contribute to test trips.
- Learn and apply calibration tools and methodologies under guidance.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
- 0–2 years of experience in powertrain or automotive engineering
- Basic knowledge of calibration tools (INCA, CANalyzer) and data analysis software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
