Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Administrator & Customer Service Advisor in Portsmouth. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the sales function while acting as a primary point of contact for customers. You will help ensure a seamless customer journey from order placement through to delivery, contributing to both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently across multiple platforms, including company websites, eBay, and Amazon * Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email, providing timely and professional support * Respond to queries relating to order status, delivery schedules, returns, and product information * Proactively communicate with customers regarding order updates, delays, or out-of-stock items * Review and validate customer orders and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with security procedures * Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery * Maintain accurate records and update internal systems, including order confirmations and customer interactions * Support the sales team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations * Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain product details and updates when required * Assist in improving processes and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) * Handle customer issues and complaints professionally, aiming for prompt and satisfactory resolution * Undertake additional administrative and customer service duties as required by the business Candidate Qualities & Experience * Previous experience in a customer service and/or sales administration role is desirable * Strong customer service skills with a professional and confident telephone manner * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Good IT skills; experience with SAP or similar systems would be an advantage * High level of attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment * Well organised, methodical, and able to meet deadlines * A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively * Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Benefits * Salary from £24,650 depending on experience * Pension plan * Long-term career development opportunities * Supportive management and colleagues * Friendly and collaborative team environment * Free car parking * 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) Equality & Inclusion Radiators 4u is committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
