Customer Service Specialist
 Location: Portsmouth
 Salary: £26,000-£30000
 Hours : Shifts between Monday and Sunday on a 6-week rota - 7.45am to 8.15pm
 Start date : April 2026

 We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our client's specialist assistance team and support customers with their needs via email and on the telephone
  
 This is a fast-paced, rewarding role providing real-time support to customers around the world. You will act as a lifeline, handling cases ranging from simple medical queries to urgent, complex emergencies.
  
 Key Duties:
  
Handle customer calls and emails, providing timely and empathetic support 
Coordinate with medical teams, hospitals, airlines, and rescue services globally 
Progress cases to resolution while ensuring excellent customer experience 
Provide reassurance and support to distressed or anxious customers 
Maintain accurate records and liaise with internal teams and external partners   
 What We Are Looking For:
  
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
Excellent communication skills 
Calm, organised, and resilient under pressure 
High computer literacy and attention to detail 
Ability to multitask and switch between calls and emails 
Previous customer service, or telephony experience is required   
 Training & Working Pattern:
  
Structured six-week training (Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:30) 
40 hours per week on a rota, shifts between 07:45 and 20:15, including weekends   
 Salary & Progression:
  
Salary between £26,000-£31500
