Science Technician Needed – Secondary School in South West London 

ABOUT THE ROLE

A welcoming secondary school in South West London is seeking a reliable and organised Science Technician to support the day-to-day running of its busy Science department. You’ll be helping teachers deliver practical lessons safely and smoothly across Biology, Chemistry and Physics labs.

This role suits:
 ✔ experienced science technicians
 ✔ recent science graduates looking for school experience
 ✔ lab assistants wanting a career in education

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare materials, chemicals and equipment for practical lessons
  Support teaching staff across all three sciences
  Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
  Stock control and ordering resources
 ⚙ Assist with equipment maintenance and setup
  Keep the prep room organised and lesson-ready

REQUIREMENTS

✔ Experience in a lab OR strong science background (A-Level / Degree)
 ✔ Excellent organisation & attention to detail
 ✔ Confident with safety & risk awareness
 ✔ Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
 ✔ Right to work in the UK
 ✔ Available full-time, Monday to Friday

Experience in a school setting is desirable — but not essential for strong candidates with a science background.
