A nurturing and forward-thinking SEN/SEMH school in Reading is looking for a Youth Support Worker to join their supportive team. This full-time role is ideal for anyone who is enthusiastic about child development, emotional wellbeing, and making a genuine impact in young people's daily lives.

You will support children and teenagers with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, and behaviour linked to trauma or anxiety. Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff, you will help pupils build resilience, improve self-esteem, and engage positively in the school environment.

Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £89-£100 per day
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
Ideal for: Psychology, Sociology, Counselling, Youth Work graduates - or anyone passionate about supporting vulnerable young peopleAs a Youth Support Worker, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support, encourage positive choices, and promote emotional regulation throughout the school day.
