Job Title: Behaviour Mentor - Secondary Schools (Lambeth)
Location: Lambeth, London
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only (Monday-Friday)

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentors to join inclusive and forward-thinking secondary schools across Lambeth. These schools are committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for every student, and you will play a key role in maintaining that ethos.
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
Support students in managing their behaviour, emotions, and engagement in learning.
Build trusting relationships with young people to encourage positive choices and personal growth.
Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and parents to implement tailored behaviour support plans.
Deliver one-to-one or small-group mentoring sessions focusing on emotional regulation, confidence, and resilience.
Help to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates empathy, patience, and consistency in supporting young people.
Can remain calm under pressure and think proactively when challenges arise.
Has experience working with young people, ideally in an educational, youth work, or mentoring capacity.
Is passionate about helping students develop both personally and academically.
